Larry Warshaw is changing Austin's skyline

If we were to talk about business in general we would end up with a subject that could bring endless discussion on the rules of engagement. But as we all learn with the passage of time, all is fair in love and war. Having said that you can imagine how the modern world of businessmen is today. Constant wars are waged without firing a single bullet or fighting a single battle. This constant battleground of today’s modern world is no place for somebody that is willing to join just to end up in the crossfire. But like in any war after the dust settles some are left standing and as history has tough us those are the people we call victors and are the ones to write history.

The world of business is no different than any previous statement that I wrote. The battle for popularity and the approval of fellow business men is always at its climax. But at the end there are always individuals that manage to impress even the strongest of critics. One such persona that I would like to point out today is Mr. Larry Warshaw which is a widely accepted real estate businessmen who is renounced by his work in the city of Austin Texas. His ideas were revolutionary for the time in the year of two thousand and five where he managed to house more than one thousand people in a building that was originally designed to hold five hundred. This business model almost game us a glimpse of the time that was slowly coming in the near future.

Larry Warshaw and urban development

By carefully managing his planning Mr. Larry Warshaw managed to accommodate over two hundred apartments in his thirty six stories tall wonder of construction. Every apartment sold within thirty days and the buyers were coming all the way from central Texas. And this wasn’t even what impressed me. On the side there were a couple of more projects that were in the shadow until the effect of the came to be. Investing in the projects that were around the skyscraper Larry Warshaw managed to increase the overall land value of the buildings he invested money in. Indirectly this caused the land and the real estate value of all his projects combined to skyrocket.

Was this intentionally done by Mr. Warshaw we may never know but it was one of the best business moves that we have seen. Not just because of the manner in which the projects were done, but because of the time period, because in the time more housing and increased land value was something that was needed in Austin Texas. And now with tax revenues get larger the public safety will get better, the educational system will only see improvements and the overall quality of living will be improved. Larry has with the help of his team singlehandedly redefined what the word “downtown” means and with possible future projects on the way who am I to judge where will the city of Austin end up.
